Foundation for Future London Grant Call to Tackle Inequality

The Medium Grant Scheme is designed to fund work that will break down barriers and tackle inequality by supporting residents across the London boroughs of Hackney, Newham, Tower Hamlets and Waltham Forest.

Foundation for Future London is looking for projects that aim to use arts & culture, communities & heritage, research & innovation and/or health & wellbeing as the catalyst to create lifelong learning, skills development, training and employment opportunities.

The scheme is open to groups, organisations, schools and businesses. The available funding is £5,000-£15,000 for a duration of 12 months.

The key outcomes of funded projects will include:

  • Enabling local residents, particularly young people to gain a qualification, build new skills, access training and work experience which could lead to improved employment and education opportunities.
  • Providing employability and skills development through heritage, arts and cultural activities, health/wellbeing activities and creative placemaking.
  • Increased access to lifelong learning (early learning and school education through to late-career and post-retirement), including coaching and mentoring support.
  • Increasing local enterprise through innovation and entrepreneurship activities.

The Foundation has a strong commitment to Inclusion, Diversity and Equality and actively encourages applications from all.

Deadline: 30 November, 12 pm.
